Sir Bruce Forsyth Playing at Glastonbury Festival
It has been revealed that TV veteran Sir Bruce Forsyth will be playing at this years Glastonbury Festival.
The 85 year old is set to entertain festival goers by performing alongside The Rolling Stones and rappers such as Dizzee Rascal. He will entertain people with songs from his solo album “These are my Favourites”.
Sir Bruce says it will be a one man show, and that he will be doing a bit of singing, a bit of dancing and a bit of playing. He says that there will also be an awful lot of laughter too. It does sound like a bundle of laughs and we can expect that a large amount of the festival goers will see the humourous side and enjoy the show. However a small group seem to be suggesting that Sir Bruce is not the right fit for such a performance at this type of venue.
Glastonbury does however have a history of unlikely and unusual acts, such as Rolf Harris in the past as well as Shirley Bassey. Anyone who says that Sir Bruce shouldn’t be there obviously doesn’t realise how talented and amazing this man is. I still have memories of “nice to see you to see you nice” in my head from my childhood that will probably never leave my head.
He is used to the cameras and large audiences, so we can assume his confidence will allow him to put on a great performance that everyone at Glastonbury is going to love.
